Squandered

Bearing in mind the unnecessary butchering of Mowbray Road park and its current muddy state, if I were in charge of the Heritage Lottery Fund and had received an application from South Tyneside Council for £3million to squander on its North Marine Park, I'd tell them to take a long walk off a short pier.
