‘Standout finale’ - Extra acts added to South Shields’ Sunday Concerts 2026 line-up
Extra acts have been announced to a classic dance line-up in Bents Park.
The final Sunday Concert of 2026 has seen two more acts added to the dance classic line-up.
South Tyneside Council has revealed two more acts will take to the stage on Sunday, August 2, for the last Sunday Concert of this year’s This is South Tyneside festival.
The local authority has previously revealed that DJ Judge Jules is scheduled to headline the last concert alongside support from Ultrabeat.

Two new acts
Now British electronic music duo, Phats and Small, and UK garage and dance music act, Sweet Female Attitude, will also take to the stage.
Phats and Small have appeared at the This is South Tyneside Festival numerous times and have proven to be a hit with crowds in the borough.
Councillor Stan Wildhirt, Mayor of South Tyneside, has stated that the latest announcements will ensure a “standout” final day for this year’s Sunday Concerts programme.
He said: “The addition of two fantastic acts means this is shaping up to be a truly standout finale to the Sunday Concerts.
“Phats and Small are a huge crowd favourite and bring a brilliant party atmosphere, while we’re delighted to welcome Sweet Female Attitude to the festival for the first time.
“With Judge Jules headlining, it promises to be an amazing afternoon, packed with feel-good favourites that audiences of all ages can enjoy.”
