Families are being warned to batten down the hatches on Friday, February 21 with strong winds of up to 50mph forecast throughout the day.
A Yellow warning, announced by the Met Office today – Wednesday, February 19 – expects that the windy weather will be at its worst between 8am and 8pm and that some disruption to travel could be expected.
The further blustery weather follows Storms Ciara and Dennis, which reaked havoc across the country with high winds and a downpour of rain earlier this month.
