How is a winner chosen?

Lidl will pick a winner drawn from all entries on Facebook and Twitter within seven working days of the closing date.

They will also choose a reserve winner A, and a reserve winner B. If the first choice winner cannot be contacted, the prize will revert to reserve winner A. If they cannot be contacted, it will revert to reserve winner B.

The prize

The winner will actually be given a cheque by Lidl worth £365 - allowing them to buy £1 worth of items from one of its bakeries every day for a year.

The cheque itself needs to be cashed by the winner at their bank, and cannot be redeemed in a Lidl store.

The supermarket chain will also send the winner a decorative gold card the cheque - though sadly it only be decorative.
