'Announce Mbappe' – Newcastle United fans react to the latest takeover talk
Takeover talk has resurfaced on Tyneside – and here’s how Twitter reacted to the news!
@AndrewK67647299 – “Announce Mbappe.”
@realworld666 – “We've heard about it so it's not happening.”
@mkhan185 – “If Ashley is a serious seller (which he isn’t), then I’d believe it.”
@mridley81 – “He's been trying to sell us on and off since 2009. Think how many other clubs have been sold in that time. Loads.”
@andrew14ad – “Every leak is from the club – it’s always the same with #nufc.”
@BlackAliblack1 – “Newcastle have not released anything, just no comment if i have read things right plus talks been going on for 4 months seemingly, which goes against the January policy. Think we need to be patient and not get to carried away.”
@TaylorandBesty – “Could we not be bought out by someone with a bit more of a moral compass than the Saudi Royal Family?”
