South Tyneside Tyne and Wear Metro users have been warned of an extended closure to the line on the north side of the River Tyne.
Metros services between Wallsend and Tynemouth will remain suspended until Thursday, November 5, while urgent repairs are carried out on a bridge in North Shields.
