And Kuol travelled to London during his visit to England to watch Newcastle’s 4-1 win over Fulham. The 18-year-old watched the game from the away end at Craven Cottage.

Newcastle United fans celebrate Miguel Almiron's second goal at Craven Cottage.

“I think it shows the type of lad that he is,” said United head coach Howe. “I think he’s embracing everything to do with Newcastle, and I’d encourage that. He’s in amongst the supporters, he’ll have a huge feeling of what Newcastle means now to the supporters. Being in amongst that, you get to experience, first-hand, the passion, the feeling. He’ll go back to what he’s currently doing knowing what’s ahead of him.”

Newcastle plan to loan out Kuol – who needs a work permit to play in England – to a club on the continent in January.
