'100%' - Matthias Jaissle makes confident St James' Park claim after Newcastle United setback v Leeds
Newcastle United v Hull City: Matthias Jaissle is expecting a strong reaction from his side against Hull at St James’ Park this weekend.
Matthias Jaissle is sure Newcastle United supporters will get behind his team ‘100%’ against Hull City at St James’ Park on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
The Magpies will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season at Leeds United when they host the newly-promoted Tigers this weekend.
Hull have enjoyed an unbeaten start to life back in the Premier League with eight points from their opening four matches and could prove a tough challenge for Jaissle’s young side still licking their wounds from a 4-1 defeat at Elland Road.

When asked if supporters will be patient towards his side this weekend, Jaissle responded: “They will. I'm really optimistic, and I'm sure that they will support us 100%.
“They have a good feeling and good sense, from what I experienced so far, about the situation, about the challenges we have, and therefore I'm really happy that we face Hull on the weekend at home.”

Newcastle are still looking for their first Premier League win of the season at St James’ Park following 2-2 draws against Liverpool and Bournemouth so far. But Hull have never lost at St James’ Park in the Premier League in three attempts.
Looking ahead to the match, Jaissle said: “We are fully aligned, fully committed to show in front of our fans a clear reaction. Secondly, it's always nice to finish a block before the national team break starts with a good result.
“That's the second goal we have for that match. We are also optimistic, even though there are a couple of challenges now. We have some injured players. Not only Anthony [Elanga], a couple of other players as well, missing. But again, we use that as an opportunity for others.
“[We must] learn from our mistakes we made, learning out of the dual behaviors we missed in the Leeds match. And if you continue the progress like that, if you're tougher in that duels, if you're more aggressive, if you're more sharp and hungry to collect the second balls, then it will be automatically a huge step already because that means that you're more dominant, means that you have more possession.
