The 22-year-old, who was briefly linked with the Magpies in January, is attracting interest from clubs in England, France, Italy and Germany.

He caught the eye on the Champions League stage last October after scoring twice against Real Madrid at Bernabeu in a 2-2 draw.

And according to HLN, Premier League sides Newcastle, Brighton, Watford and Sheffield United are considering a move.

A move to England might not be the only option for the Nigerian, though, with AS Monaco, Borussia Dortmund and Sampdoria also mentioned as potential suitors.

Indeed, it is Dortmund who are thought to be leading the chase having regularly watched the player from the stands this term.

The report adds that any deal falls on meeting his £21million price-tag. Dennis is able to play as a striker or on either flank.
