Joelinton featured in just two of the Magpies’ seven pre-season friendlies due to injury.
What’s Matthias Jaissle said?
“Yeah, he's for sure out for a couple of weeks, but I don't want to go into too much detail, as there will always be specialists involved.
“The medical department is aware of it, we have top staff when it comes to that, and I'm really confident that he will be back as soon as possible.”

Osula sustained a foot problem during the Premier League opening day draw against Liverpool. He played on initially, but was forced to withdraw early in the second half.
What’s Matthias Jaissle said?
“He's now permanently getting the best treatment. We have a fantastic medical department, but it's still too early to make a clear prognosis, a clear time frame when he's back, but he's working hard in the rehab like all the others.”

Dan Burn
Burn rolled his ankle in training in the build-up to the Premier League opener against Liverpool, and was spotted at the game on crutches and wearing a protective boot.
What’s Matthias Jaissle said?
Jaissle initially hoped Burn would return within a couple of weeks, however the defender isn’t expecting to be until after the upcoming international break.
Speaking earlier this week, Burn said: “It’s my not first injury and I’m sure it won’t be my last but hopefully I won’t be out for too long - I expect to be back after the international break.”

Coventry City (A), 12/10.
