Newcastle United make a cheeky jibe at Sunderland AFC - and fans are loving it

The Magpies have been quick to respond to the announcement that series two of the Netflix hit ‘Sunderland ‘Til I Die’ will be hitting the small screen on April 1.

And knowing how the series ends – with Sunderland falling at the last hurdle in their bid to gain promotion from League One – Newcastle United’s Twitter account couldn’t resist a cheeky post aimed at the Black Cats.

Quoting a tweet from Netflix, the Magpies posted ‘We're saying nothing’ along with a humorous GIF of the Longstaff brothers.

And Newcastle fans are loving the post – having been quick to react to it on social media:
