Fixtures were suspended last week because of the coronavirus outbreak – and there are fears the season will never be completed.
However, the Daily Telegraph claim the league could restart in the summer and complete its fixtures behind closed doors.
This is possible following the year-long postponement of Euro 2020.
The report also claims that the FA Cup would be completed. Newcastle United are in the quarter-finals.
