Revealed: The date when the first Newcastle United fans could return


Supporters have not been allowed inside the stadium since February 29 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the Premier League is working towards an October return for a partial opening of stadiums, and 2,500 Brighton and Hove Albion fans were allowed inside the Amex Stadium for a friendly against Chelsea on Saturday.

Hide AdAnd the Daily Mail report that Newcastle have “sounded out” corporate box holders about a reduced-capacity return on October 3 for the home game against Burnley. The boxes were used to house media when the Premier League restarted in June.
Some season-ticket holders could also be allowed back inside the stadium next month. It’s reported that around 17,000 supporters could soon be able to attend games at St James's Park.
