Steve Bruce reacts to Newcastle United's defeat at Manchester United

Having looked dead and buried a short time back, former Magpies midfielder Scott Parker is overseeing a resurgence at Fulham, which has seen them close the gap to Newcastle United at the bottom end of the Premier League.

And heading to Old Trafford this evening, the pressure is very much on Steve Bruce & Co, probably for the first time this Premier League campaign.

The Cottagers have, at present, played a game more than United, but that will be all square by close of play at Old Trafford – and the Magpies need to get something, in order to widen the gap again, even if only slightly.
