Lascelles suffered a thigh injury in last weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at St James’s Park.

However, United’s captain is back in training ahead of tomorrow night’s game against Crystal Palace.

Dwight Gayle, sidelined since pre-season, has also trained ahead of the Premier League fixture against his former club.

Head coach Steve Bruce will today give an update on Callum Wilson, who missed the Chelsea game with a hamstring injury.
