The fly-on-the-wall documentary will follow the Black Cats’ first season back in League One, and their ultimately unsuccessful attempt to return to the Championship during the 2018/19 season.
There will be six episodes of the show in season two, with one focusing purely on Sunderland’s run to Wembley in the Checkatrade Trophy Final.
And while fans have been forced to wait for several months for the release of the series, they only have a matter of weeks until ‘Sunderland ‘Til I Die’ will return to the streaming service.
