Join a free cycle ride taking in the beautiful South Tyneside coast
The ride will be relaxed, led and suitable for people with a range of abilities.
A cycle ride with a route along the beautiful South Tyneside coastline is taking bookings for anyone who would like to pedal along.
The ride is the final part of a project to help adults who are not currently cycling, or have been cycling for less than once a month.
The coastal ride is free to join and available to anyone aged 18 or over. It offers people the chance to get back on their bikes in a supportive, friendly and local environment. The ride will be relaxed, led and suitable for people with a range of abilities.
It starts at The Word in Market Place in South Shields at 10am on Friday, September 11 and lasts about two hours. It’s not a race.
This is a great opportunity to meet other cyclists, build confidence and enjoy an active and environmentally friendly morning outdoors.
