Philippa said: “Your mental health is so important. The way that you talk to yourself matters most, take it easy on yourself as you are only doing the best you can.

“Some days are better than others and that’s okay, we can’t be happy and bright all of the time, let yourself rest, so you can shine on future days. Talk to yourself kindly and take time out when needed.”

She was inspired to spread the message after making a change in her own life last year and beginning personal training through Shape up with Sher.

She lost three stone – but found one of the biggest rewards was the improvement to her mental health.

One of her latest looks, called Be Kind to Your Mind, has almost 3,000 likes on Instagram.

For this, Philippa wrote kind words across her face and had a t-shirt made by Glam Rocks Boutique to fit the look.

“You will never speak to anyone as much as you do to yourself in your own head,” she added.

“Make sure you treat yourself well, as you are so important even on days when you don’t think you are.”

The Health and Pipness posts follow a series Philippa did in the run-up to Christmas, which featured a snowman and festive pudding.

She has also gained attention online for her work paying tribute to fallen soldiers, with a body art design of Ray Lonsdale’s famous Tommy statue at Seaham.
