Police have now charged two men with murder following the death of the 24-year-old in South Shields on Tuesday.

Shortly before 4am on Tuesday we received a report of concern for a man inside a property on Victoria Road.

Emergency services attended and discovered an unresponsive man inside the address with injuries consistent with a bladed article.

Sadly, Brandon Lee of Wansbeck Road, Jarrow, was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics a short time later.

Police arrested two men in connection with investigation into his death.

Ross Miller, 23, of Victoria Road, South Shields and Garry Miller, 25, of Beach Road, South Shields have both been charged with murder and are both due to appear before magistrates in Newcastle on Saturday, May 16.
