Dogs Trust currently has so many gorgeous pups up for adoption across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria, Leeds and Edinburgh rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a forever home this Spring.

13. Greg (Crossbreed, two-five years)
Greg does have a sensitive side but is really sweet once he's given time to make friends and does build up a strong bond with you. He'd like to have lots of positive experiences with his new family to help boost his confidence with formal handling. He likes to play with his toys and is happy for you to join in the fun. He's a big fan of his food but is polite at taking treats. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

14. Spud (Shar Pei, five months)
Spud is a five-month-old Shar Pei. Spud can get anxious when left so needs adopters around all the time initially to settle him in. He is big and can be very bouncy and would prefer a quiet home without too much coming and going. Teenage children would be fine, and he would be okay with occasional visiting children. Spud can be vocal when out and about, especially around other dogs, so he would need walking in quiet areas, and he would need to be the only dog in the home. Spud is housetrained. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

15. Lexi (Bulldog cross, 6-12 months)
Lexi is a gorgeous young girl who likes meeting people and dogs but just lacks confidence. She enjoys plenty of fuss once she has a good relationship with you and is super foody so ongoing training will be much easier. She walks really well on lead and is lots of fun when playing with her toys! Lexi's perfect match will be someone who is happy to take time getting to know her inside and out and continue all the great training she's been doing with us. Lexi does have a history of being housetrained but may require a little refresher. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

16. Frankie (Lurcher, two-five years)
Fabulous Frankie is looking for a family who are willing to give him loads of love, time and space to settle into his new home. He can be quite noise sensitive so he would be best suited to a quiet home environment too. Frankie can be left as long as this is built up to gradually. He will need to be walked in quieter areas as he is one of life's worriers and struggles in busy environments. Once he has a relationship he loves a fuss and cuddle. We know that in a peaceful home with a family who understand his needs he will flourish and blossom into a fantastic pet. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
