The tours are led by Sue Balmer, Arbeia’s expert guide, and include time to explore the reconstructed Commanding Officer's House.

There will be time to ask Sue questions at the end of the tour over light refreshments, which include hot drinks and mince pies.

The candlelit tours are not suitable for under 12s and it is recommended that anyone taking part dresses warmly and for all weathers - with sensible shoes being a must.

The first tour will run from 4.30pm until 5.30pm and the second running from 6pm until 7pm.

Organisers have stated that places are limited and should be booked early to avoid disappointment.
