Chris Ramsey and wife Rosie rack up another nomination for hilarious podcast show

Launched in 2019, the show S****** Married Annoyed shares listener stories, dilemmas and questions and talks through the day-to-day pitfalls of marriage and parenting.

And now, the South Shields couple have been recognised in the Funniest Show category at the The Audio & Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS).

In a post on Instagram, mum-of-one Rosie celebrated the nomination and said: “The ARIAS are a pretty big deal in the world of radio.

“I only know this because I used to work for Capital back in the day (you may know this already, apologies). I quit when I had Robin and it always niggled at me, I had quite a lot of regret about it to be honest.

“Fast forward to now and I can’t quite believe that we are being nominated for awards within this industry.

“You’ll honestly never know how grateful we are to all of you who listen in every week. We’re really proud of our rank little show and we love all you.”

Chris added in a Tweet: “What an honour! We’ve been nominated for Funniest Show in the UK ARIAS.”

This nomination comes just a few weeks after the show was shortlisted for Best Podcast at the Global Awards.

In the ARIAS, the Ramseys are up against a number of other programmes, including The Dave Berry Breakfast Show, Kurupt FM and James Veitch’s Contractual Obligation.

The ARIAS 2020 will take place at the London Palladium on Wednesday, March 4.
