A seafront park in South Tyneside is set to be transformed, once again, into an America-style drive-in cinema.

The drive-in cinema was first launched in 2012 and after proving a hit with movie fans, organisers have brought it back year after year.

Philip Sheeran, of Ocean Beach Pleasure Park said: “Previous years have been a huge success, which is why we have decided to bring it back. “The movie choices we have made cater for all ages. The nights are always popular.”

Cinema food including hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and milkshakes will be available for people to buy on the night as they watch their favourite movies from the comfort of their cars.

Sound is transmitted through each moto’s FM radio system.
