A wellbeing walk will see those taking part enjoy some of South Tyneside’s best views.

Members of the public are invited to put on their walking shoes and enjoy a “lovely ramble” along the South Tyneside coast’s cliffs.

A wellbeing walk on Monday, November 30, will see people take in the views of Marsden Bay and The Leas.

Walkers will meet at The Word, in South Shields, at 10am and take the E1 bus to the Marsden Grotto, before taking the lift down to Marsden Bay.

Upon reaching the end of the bay, walkers will head up the Redwell Steps and follow the cliff top path all the way to Trow Point.

The route will see walkers take in incredible views of the North Sea and potentially spot some of the wildlife that calls the North East coast home.

As walkers make their way back to The Word, they will head via the South Shields promenade and through South Marine Park.
