Jarrow boss excited by forward duo as further signings planned
Jarrow have continued adding to their squad ahead of the new Northern League season.
Kennie Malia has admitted the signings of forward duo Stephen Siyanbola and Luca Nelson have left him excited for the new Northern League season.
The Perth Green outfit have enjoyed a productive summer so far after Malia completed the additions of Morgan Dart, Brad Lowes and Jack Honour and further signings are in the works ahead of the return to pre-season training. However, it is the additions of former Park View striker Siyanbola and fellow forward Nelson that have caught the eye.

Siyanbola has been a regular goalscorer during his time in the Northern League and will go some way to filling the void left by Jay Barber’s departure to Chester-le-Street Town. Nelson also brings experience of step six football and also spent time within the academy setup at Doncaster Rovers before playing non-league football for the likes of Bishop Auckland a and Thornaby.
Malia is looking forward to working with the duo and admitted he has been ‘tracking’ both players in recent seasons before finally securing their signatures.
He told The Gazette: “I am very pleased to bring in Stephen Siyanbola and Luca Nelson. They will both give us that new dimension going forward because they are two brilliant centre forwards. We have tracked them both for the last two seasons now and we're all really excited about what they will bring to the team. I am really excited by the business we have done this summer and we are still working on one or two more signings - but what we have done already has got me really excited for the new season.”
