Loris Karius makes Newcastle United debut as Alexander Isak sits out friendly

Eddie Howe has named his Newcastle United starting XI for this evening’s friendly against Al Hilal.

Howe’s side are taking on the Saudi Pro League champions at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, Riyadh.

And Howe has handed goalkeeper Loris Karius, signed as a free agent in September, his debut.

Alexander Isak is not involved as he recovers from a thigh injury.
