Newcastle United star issued Premier League ban following Everton incident
Newcastle United were beaten 1-0 by Everton at St James’ Park on Monday night with Jacob Ramsey sent off in stoppage time.
Newcastle United midfielder Jacob Ramsey will be banned for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Fulham after being sent off against Everton.

It’s Ramsey’s second sending-off since joining Newcastle having also been dismissed in the 2-1 win over Manchester United back in March.
The midfielder came on in the 76th minute of the match with Newcastle trailing 1-0 following Thierno Barry’s opener. Ramsey was booked deep into stoppage time then shown his second yellow card and sent off just two minutes later by referee John Brooks.

The full-time whistle shortly followed to confirm successive defeats against Everton in quick succession. The Toffees knocked United out of the Carabao Cup last week with a 3-1 win.
Ramsey will serve a one-match ban at Fulham on Saturday before returning to contention after the international break as Newcastle host Arsenal.
Monday’s defeat sees Matthias Jaissle’s side drop to 13th in the table while Everton leapfrogged them and moved up to seventh.
It’s now four defeats in five matches in all competitions since the last international break as the pressure mounts on Jaissle and his players.
Newcastle will be looking for a reaction against Fulham at Craven Cottage, a ground they have lost their last two visits to. Jaissle’s side have no other suspension concerns for the match though Matias Fernandez-Pardo and Lewis Miley remain doubts after missing the last three matches.
Tino Livramento and Ewen Jaouen remain out due to respective knee and hamstring injuries.
