Newcastle United news: Jetro Willems fee revealed plus striker links played down ahead of January transfer window

Newcastle United have reportedly agreed a fee to sign Jetro Willems from German side Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to reports an €11m fee has been agreed to bring the full-back to St James’ Park on permanent basis.

Bowyer told the South London Press: “That’s his agent who has put that out there.”

Elsewhere, manager Steve Bruce has named two players who learn from experienced frontman Andy Carroll over lunch at the club’s Benton training base, with the ex-Liverpool striker proving a big influence on and off the pitch at Newcastle United.
