'That's strange' - Matthias Jaissle facing Premier League ban after Newcastle United incident v Fulham
Newcastle United head coach Matthias Jaissle is one booking away from a one-match Premier League ban.
Matthias Jaissle picked up his second Premier League yellow card of the season during Newcastle United’s 1-1 draw away to Fulham.
The Magpies took the lead in the 80th minute through Jacob Murphy’s stunning strike, but their advantage lasted just three minutes before substitute Rodrigo Muniz equalised for the hosts.
Deep into stoppage time, Matias Fernandez-Pardo went to ground under a challenge, but referee Robert Jones waved play on.

Jaissle reacted by urging his £51million summer signing to get back to his feet and help his team defend, but the United head coach claims his reaction resulted in him being shown a yellow card.
It is the second time Jaissle has been cautioned in the Premier League this season, with both bookings coming from the same referee.
Jones also showed the German a yellow card during Newcastle’s 2-2 draw at home to AFC Bournemouth in September after he left his technical area.
"Not understandable really,” Jaissle said on his booking. “I was shouting at my player that he should get up because if we can lose him for one minute at a decisive moment of the game, yeah, he should get up.
"Only when he is really injured can I understand it. The referee then gives me the yellow card. That's strange."
Jaissle is now just one more Premier League yellow card away from serving a one-match touching ban for reaching three cautions,
The 38-year-old has said previously that he has no plans to change his behaviour on the touchline.
I hope I don't need to adapt,” Jaissle said. “I was really clear that I was disappointed.
“I made it also really clear in many aspects, because from my point of view, if you're 20cm out of your box and you encourage and support your own team in a positive way, in an emotional way, I'm not sure if that is then a yellow card.
“Also, compare when I'm looking at some of my colleagues...”
