Ryan Fraser injury blow for Newcastle United

Ryan Fraser is out of tonight’s Premier League game against Southampton.

The Newcastle United winger set up Callum Wilson’s winner against Everton at St James’s Park last weekend.

However, Fraser misses out at St Mary’s Stadium because of a hamstring problem. Matty Longstaff replaces him on the bench.

The 26-year-old joined the club in the summer as a free agent after leaving Bournemouth when his contract expired.

Fraser is also set to miss Scotland’s upcoming fixtures against Serbia, Slovakia and Israel.
