Steve Bruce reacts to NUFC result & talks the #NUFCTakeover

On the takeover talk: "In every interview for 15 weeks I'm asked the same thing. We need clarity. I understand that. We will see the CEO (Lee Charnley) at the end of the week and plan for the summer. We hope there will be a decision shortly."

FT - 0-0... And here’s Liam Kennedy’s GOOD DAY/BAD DAY

Danny Rose was the stand out United man for me. He had his erratic moments with distribution in the second 45, but was easily the best defender on the park.

Allan Saint-Maximin was poor, so too was Miguel Almiron. But Andy Carroll will be the most disappointed player coming off the park after THAT miss.

‘Lacked ideas and imagination’ - Miles Starforth’s 90 minute analysis

That was tough to watch at times, but NUFC were better defensively, despite the loss of personnel. The result ended a run of three defeats, but the team lacked ideas and imagination with the ball. Saint-Maximin, so important to this team, never got into his stride.

Should be 0-1 - and Carroll should be off the mark for the season!

FAN VIEW: Dubravka praise from Steve Wraith

Dubravka has pulled off another couple of world class saves today. If it had not been for him this season then we would have been in the mix for a relegation spot.

FAN VIEW: Steve Hastie is about to become a Flat Earther, he thinks!

If this game gets any flatter we will all be automatically enrolled into the Flat Earth Society.

Martin Dubravka tips over a Webster strike from long distance. It was travelling but the Slovakian is equal to it.

Carroll & Joelinton on, can NUFC find a winner? 15 minutes to go...

FAN VIEW: Neil Mitchell with a blast from the past!

A rare sight. A keeper in a cap. Brings Subbuteo limited edition goalkeeper sets to mind.

FAN VIEW: Steve Wraith thinks this is much more like it from NUFC

United started second half brightly. Need to take one of these chances or I can see Brighton catching us with a sucker punch.
