'Jarroween' activities to try as Jarrow Hall gets spooky
Spooky season is coming to Jarrow Hall.
Jarrow Hall has announced a programme of events as it looks to celebrate Halloween 2026.
“Jarroween” takes place on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 at the Church Bank venue between 10am and 4pm on both days.

The pumpkin patch is open, as will the medieval mask making workshop with the artist in residence, with a costume parade at noon on the Saturday. There are also free “rune readings”.
Jarroween is a ticketed event and annual passes will not be accepted on the weekend.
Each ticket costs £6.50 for a child (with a pumpkin included) and £3.50 for an adult (no pumpkin included).
Jarrow Hall will also be running its Lego Monastery Big Build sessions during half-term, October 27 to November 1, 10.30am to 3pm. Each session, much loved by youngsters, costs £5.
Tickets and more information for all of these events, and more besides, are available on the hall’s website at: www.jarrowhall.com.
