The popular South Shields-based butchers are expanding their home delivery service yet again – and this time they are taking it across the Tyne.

From next week, residents in North Shields, Wallsend, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth will be able to have their favourite products delivered using the app.

It’s the first time the service has been available over the river, after the firm rolled out delivery across South Tyneside last month.

Since lockdown measures were introduced in March - and all non-essential retailers forced to close - Dicksons has been working to make its products available to as many customers as possible, encouraging them to have items delivered instead.

Delivery is now available seven days a week in South Shields, Cleadon, East and West Boldon, Wardley, Pelaw and Whitburn.

Customers can choose from hampers including groceries, meat and sweet treats.

And of course, the ‘legendary’ Saveloy dip kit, which comes with ten Saveloys, pease pudding, stuffing and bread buns.
