Dogs Trust currently has so many gorgeous pups up for adoption across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria, Leeds and Edinburgh rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a forever home in time for Summer.
13. Lionel Longlegs (Lurcher Cross, three years)
Lionel Longlegs is a sweet boy who is looking for a calm home where he can chill out on a comfy sofa or cosy bed. He loves the garden where he has lots of fun running around doing zoomies or playing with his favourite toys! Lionel Longlegs can be a little shy when first meeting people, however with some cuddles and tasty treats he soon becomes your best friend. Lionel Longlegs is fond of his walks, taking his time to enjoy all the amazing smells and walks wonderfully on his lead. Being a sighthound Lionel Longlegs does have a strong desire to chase after small fluffys and will need to be walked on his lead when out and about on his adventures. He is housetrained and happy to jump into the car. Lionel Longlegs loves to be around his people and would like his new owners to be at home most of the day to help keep him company. 14. Harry (Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, 10 years)
Harry is a complete snuggle bug! He is happiest when enjoying a cuddle on the sofa or a nice afternoon snooze. He is happy to hop into the car to go on exciting new adventures. Harry adores spending time with his family and would like for someone to be at home most of the time to keep him company. Harry is currently underweight but is enjoying getting lots of TLC, this will need to be managed in his new home. 15. Marigold (Shih Tzu, two years)
Marigold is an adorable lady who enjoys being around her family. She would like for someone to be at home throughout the day to keep her company whilst she settles into her new home. 16. Annabelle (Staffordshire Bull Terrier, three years)
Annabelle is a friendly girl who will always greet you with a wiggly bum and a waggy tail! She is a happy, cuddly girl who wants to say hello and get a gentle fuss from everyone she meets! Annabelle is strong on the lead and is looking for owners who will be able to manage her strength and will be keen to work on her lead training in her new home. She is uncomfortable around other dogs and prefers to walk in quiet areas where she can take in all the amazing smells. She is a super affectionate girl who is at her best when snuggling up with her favourite people and soaking up all the love. Annabelle is a super playful girl and would love to have a garden where she can play tug, lounge in the sun and potter around to her heart's content. She is a total foodie and will show off some tricks in exchange for some tasty cheese! Annabelle loves being around her people and would like for someone to be at home most of the time to keep her company and give her lots of fuss! Once settled, she can be left alone for a few hours.
