Hunted producers seeking 'fugitives' from South Tyneside to take part in next series of Channel 4 show

People in South Tyneside are being invited to go on the run – in a hit TV show.

Shine TV, the production company that makes Channel 4’s popular programme, Hunted, are on the lookout for contestants for a new series of the show – with the chance of the winning £100,000.

The show involves people becoming fugitives, trying to evade capture from a team of expert trackers.

They could be going it alone or with friends, family or colleagues and the prize will be shared equally between all the fugitives who successfully evade capture.

Alice Koski, casting researcher at Shine, said: “We are looking for people of all ages, backgrounds and professions to try and evade capture from a team of expert trackers.”

The company says it will cover reasonable pre-agreed loss of earnings for everyone who participates.
