Youngsters given the opportunity to learn how to DJ in South Shields
Children have the opportunity to learn DJ skills thanks to free sessions in South Shields.
South Tyneside Libraries are giving youngsters the chance to develop their DJ skills this summer.
The free sessions will be held at The Word, on Market Place, in South Shields town centre on Friday, July 31.
MC Drop Dead Fred will be hosting the sessions where children will learn the basics of DJing, get familiar with decks and gain knowledge on how to build beats.
There will be two sessions on July 31, which are as follows:
- 10am until 12pm: This session is available to children aged five to seven-years-old.
- 1pm until 3pm: This session is for children aged seven to 11-years-old.
The DJ skills sessions are free to attend but places must be booked prior to the event.
