Create Halloween cupcakes - and slime - at Sea Change in South Shields
There are also Christmas wreath making and live music events.
Social enterprise café Sea Change has some interesting activities lined up for Halloween.
The café, which is based on Ocean Road in South Shields, is holding sessions on cupcake decorating and – what else – slime making on the day itself, Saturday, October 31 between 4pm and 6pm.
The afternoon will also feature Halloween sensory trays, while coffee, tea, cakes and other snacks will be available.
Further ahead, when things are becoming a little more Christmassy, Sea Change has wreath decorating sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, November 25th and 26th, 6pm to 8pm.
The wreath making session costs £40 per person and includes materials and a mulled wine. There is an optional cheese board offering, please specify when booking.
